FAQs

How do I place an order?

We have multiple options for placing your order! You can now place orders directly through our website. Alternatively, you can email us at jjmimprint@outlook.com, call us at 815-632-3913, message us on Facebook, or see us in person at 1301 E 4th St. Sterling, IL (entrance in alley).

Where are you located?

We are located at 1301 E 4th St. We are on the one way heading into downtown in the old C&J Speed Shop building. We are a block before The Palms.

Is there an order minimum?

Screen printing and embroidery have a 12 piece minimum requirement. However, we do offer custom apparel with no minimum using different processes such as vinyl and direct to garment printing.

Can I pay when I pick up my shirts?

Our graphic designers put time and effort into the custom designs they create for our customers, so payment is due prior to artwork and production.

What determines the price of my apparel?

Quantities, number of colors, location(s) of design, and garment type all play into the custom quote we provide for you. For more exact quotes, place your order through our website.

Can I order custom apparel and custom promotional products at the same time?

No, we cannot offer them both at checkout at this time. These items must be ordered separately.

Do you offer name brand apparel?

We offer brands such as Nike, Carhartt, New Era, Champion, Dickies, Columbia, etc. You can make these selections when shopping our website ahead of checkout.

Can I bring my own shirts in for you to customize?

Yes, we do offer customization of customer supplied apparel as long as it is unwashed and unworn. You may be asked to bring in the apparel for our production team to inspect prior to production to ensure it will not be ruined by the customization process. You must drop these pieces off at our storefront or pay for shipment to our location. Please contact us directly if you would like to explore this option by email at jjmimprint@outlook.com or phone at 815-632-3913.

Do you offer shipping?

Shipping is determined at checkout based on location and order.

How long do orders take to process?

Production typically takes 5-7 business days after the quote and artwork are approved. Rush services are available when our schedule allows for it.

Can I add more shirts to an order after it is complete?

Once a screen printing order is complete, the screens are cleaned and recycled. Placing an order of a previous design (no matter how recent) still requires a 12 piece minimum for screen printing. If you need to reorder less than 12 pieces, your account manager can discuss other printing processes and their pricing with you.

I'm not happy with my order, what can I do?

Our art approval process ensures that every customer is 100% happy with their design before it is pushed to production. However if there is a change of heart after the art has been approved or you're discontent with the size you chose we are unable to accept returns. If you have received an order and there is a problem with it, please notify us within 7 days and we will work with you to determine the problem and come to a fair solution that works for you. Mistakes are rare, but when they happen, we will be happy to make it right.

How should I wash my garments?

Proper care will keep your apparel looking great for as long as possible. Care instructions vary slightly depending on the printing or embroidery method:

Screen Printed Garments

  • Turn the garment inside out before washing.

  • Machine wash cold with like colors.

  • Use mild detergent, and avoid bleach or fabric softeners.

  • Tumble dry on low heat, or hang dry to extend the life of the print.

  • Do not iron directly on the print.

DTF (Direct-to-Film) Printed Garments

  • Turn inside out before washing.

  • Wash in cold water on a gentle cycle.

  • Use mild detergent only—avoid bleach or harsh chemicals.

  • Tumble dry low, or hang dry for best results.

  • Do not dry clean or iron directly over the design.

Embroidered Garments

  • Turn inside out to protect the stitching.

  • Machine wash cold, gentle cycle.

  • Avoid bleach and strong detergents.

  • Lay flat or hang dry to maintain shape; if needed, tumble dry on low.

  • If ironing is necessary, place a cloth over the embroidery before pressing.

What size should I order?

Our standard brand for most apparel is Gildan.
